Secondary Framing

Our products can endure any highly corrosive environments thanks to the use of high-performing coatings (e.g. ArcelorMittal Magnelis™).

Solar structures

Profil du Futur, a high-performing company firmly grounded in its history and values Wittelsheim 1Profil du Futur has delivered the structures for more than 200 MW of ground-mounted solar farms installed on all types of soils in France and abroad.

Our structures for photovoltaic power plants in more detail:

  • single pole structure or dual pole with buried posts or micro-pile type solutions
  • structures mounted on concrete
  • adaptable to fit all types of photovoltaic modules in landscape or portrait orientation
  • supplied with or without installation services
  • high performance coating (e.g. Magnelis™ ZM310 coating or higher) with anti-corrosion guarantee
  • provided with the design notes for the structures and foundations
  • innovative solutions to fasten quickly the photovoltaic modules on the structure and for electrical grounding

History

  • 2018 :Installation of a new profile line and product innovation with the W rail to develop the solar business. Capacity to produce structures for solar farms between 2 and 100 MW.
  • 2014 :Installation of a new profile line for the MULTIBEAM and CE range.
  • 2008 : Our first order for the solar business with a project delivered for a solar farm in Spain.
    Development of the MULTIBEAM range with the addition of the D400 and D450 as well as new accessories.
  • 2006 : Merger of the ARCELOR and MITTAL STEEL to create ARCELORMITTAL Group..
  • 2001 : Merger of USINOR with Spanish Group ACERALIA and Luxembourg Group ARBED to create ARCELOR Group.
  • 1995 : Purchase of the HORBOURG-WIHR site by the USINOR-SACILOR group and merger with PROFIL DU FUTUR, a company specialised in industrial buildings.
  • 1990 : Company name changed to MULTICOM SA: turnover of 25 million euros, 250 employees.
  • 1984 : The company SUTTER is overtaken by British company WARD BROTHERS, a manufacturer of steel structures and components. Our current business in making and selling cold rolled profiles for purlins and rail systems has just begun.
  • 1954 : The activity is redeployed towards the design and mounting of metal structures made of hot rolled steel profiles for industrial and agricultural buildings.
  • 1948 : The SUTTER family, owners of a forge, began making small agricultural equipment, ironworking and metal joinery activities on the current Horbourg-Wihr site.
