W rail

The W rail has been specially developed for ground mounted solar structures. It can be used with a large variety of panel frames and in both portrait and landscape orientation. It offers the following advantages:

  • It adapts to photovoltaic module frames of any height.
  • The panels slid in upwards and blocked with a stopper until the next panels are positioned.
  • The panels are automatically earthed via the clips.
  • The rail is punched to dispose holes at the exact place of the panel connection. Fast assembly without tools is made possible with adapted clips

This principle facilitates the replacement of a single panel without dismantling an entire row, and also saves material (1 meter per rail).

Description

  • The solar panels are securely fastened : firmly locked in all directions (X, Y and Z) without any vibration.
  • Assembly of high mechanical strength panels that are able to resist a load of +5400/-2400 Pa, compliant with UEC 61215-10.16:2005
  • Earthing compliant with IEC 604391:2014 8.2.4.1 after 96 hours’ exposure to salt spray.
  • High anti-corrosion protection: Magnelis™ ZM310 guaranteed 25 years, and 720 hours of exposure to salt spray.
